Lee;
There is no downgrade path to Windows 95, there is no upgrade path
from Windows 95 to Windows XP for that matter.
You will need to back-up all important data before you begin FDISK,
format and installation of Windows 95.

Make sure you can get drivers for Windows 95 and also make sure your
hardware will adequately work with Windows 95.

Lastly, be sure this is what you want to do.
In many cases, Windows 95 is truly obsolete as it has no security and
no further updates will be provides by Microsoft since its life cycle
has passed.

Let me get this right you want to willingly put on Win 95 when you have
Winxp there? What in heck do you want to do that for? Theres no
downgrade option. You have to back up whatever data you want to keep,
format the drive then put that old unsupported OS on.

You do know that 9X is for all intensive purposes
unsupported. 98 is still supported somewhat, but 95 is
done. You would be better off learning your way around XP
as it is far superior to older OS's.
