How to display SATA HDD after XP installation?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make SATA HDD appear after XP
installation without SP2?
Before re-installing XP, I have successfully set up SATA HDD by partitioning
250GB into two 120 GB HDD under XP with SP2. Once I format [C: drive] for XP
and reinstall it, my SATA HDD is disappeared. Does anyone have any suggestion
on how to make my SATA HDD appear? since many drivers are stored under SATA
HDD.

You have partitioned the single drive into 2, C + one other, Yes?
Did you do this with a third party tool?
What does Disk Management show?
(Winxp requires sp1 or greater to see/utilise a drive larger than 137gb)

If your winxp is pre sp1 you can create a slipstreamed win cd containing the
latest sp then this cd will see the entire hd and you can if you wish use 2
partitions
 
No, OS is installed in Disk 1 [C: drive] independently.
Disk 3 is partitioned into 120 GB [H: drive] and 120 GB [I: drive]
Drive is stored in Disk 3 [H: drive] independently.
XP does not include SP1, I use Disk Management for resizing partition.
Do you have any suggestions?

You should have loaded the SATA drivers from a floppy while doing the
install.

I don't know if you can do it now. You may either need to upgrade to
SP2 or do the install again.

What's your problem with SP2 anyway?
