.
after reinstalling xp-pro there are actually two files
that i tried to use 1: ez-trust antivirus program 2:one
file under documents and settings . both told me that my
access was denied.1: so i unistalled the program ez-trust
antivirus in add/delete .but it is still in the program
files and it does not let me delete it there even thou it
is gone out of the add/delete 2:the file in
document/setting which i believe are just some old
pictures {that i do not worry about loosing}does not let
me do anything :can't open nor delete it .hopefully this
helps as an explanation. if some youneed more let me know
please. thanks viwole

viwole,

ez-trust might’ve left some shared files behind – some programs do that,
it’s normal.

If you can’t delete files you created, try to “take ownershipâ€:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;308421

and then delete the file. If still having problems, try deleting in Safe
Mode (Start/Restart your computer and start pushing F8 key twice per second.
Select Safe Mode on Windows Advanced Options screen, and push Enter.)

If you would like to clean your computer, please see the following.
