While browsing the web a little nusty program called vividGal got stuck to my pc and I can not delete it for months now. It installed itself without my knowledge and permission into the Window directory. Every time I try to uninstall it by all the means in some magic way it keeps coming back and driving me crazy

Please help me to get rid of it!!!

Download, install and run a program called AdAware 6.0. Just remember to
update the reference file before scanning the system.
Another good spyware remover is called Spybot S&D. Both programs are free.

Install the two programs Fritz has mentioned and see if they find the
culprit.

If not, first stop the process vividgal.exe from running using Task Manager
accessed by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Delete;

Search for and delete the file called vividgal.exe

then:
1.. Click Start, and then click Run. (The Run dialog box appears.)
2.. Type regedit

Then click OK. (The Registry Editor opens.)

3.. Navigate to the key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

4.. In the right pane, delete the value:

"VividGal.exe" = "C:\WINNT\VividGal.exe -n"

5.. Exit the Registry Editor.
That should get rid if it completely
