Hey arfam4,

If you are talking about Microsoft Windows Messenger, you can delete this by
following the steps bellow:

1st Way:

1) Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
2) As soon as the "Add/Remove Programs" window appears, click on Add/Remove
Windows Components (at the side).
3) Once the "Windows Components Wizard" window appears, scroll down to the
end and you'll "Windows Messenger" ticked. You just have to untick it and
just press next. You're Done!

It would take a few seconds in uninstalling Windows Messenger, so no need to
worry if your computer hangs.

2nd Way:

If you're in a hurry and don't like following the steps above, just
following these short steps:

1) Start > Run
2) Type in "RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection
%windir%\inf\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove" (Without the quotes)

Thanks and Good Luck

Greetings! How one can delete Instant Messenger? . [I may have posted

With thanks.

Please fix your calendar - you are nearly a month ahead of the rest of the
planet. It is for your own good: -

1) Microsoft *WILL* remove posts dated so far in the future .
2) Many people won't reply to post dated messages, except to tell the
poster to fix their settings.
3) Some ISPs will delete post-dated messages because it's a tactic used by
spammers.
4) It's the Usenet equivalent of queue-jumping and it's the height of
rudeness. You wouldn't do in real life, so why do so online...?

I'm sure it's just accidental, but please do so.

I hope this isn't just a facade by you, but it is quite refreshing to see
that you at least are being polite and helpful; shocked to see that you
understand that the OP's time settings may be unintentional!

Tom;
You know her attitude can't last long...............

You, Tom (and maybe the OP) are the kind of people who'd roughly and rudely
push past a queue of pensioners in the post office on pension day to get to
the front because you think you're more important.

MS *DO* delete post-dated posts (I know because I've seen it). It's got
nothing to with having an "attitude".

Hey, arfam4...You're closer to the current date than your original post
(1/1/2000)...hang in there...you can get it...lol
