I have a client that everytime outlook is opened, nearly 100 "old" reminders
pop up. to date we have tried deleting the calendar entries manually, using
the /cleanreminders (as well as numerous other switches that seem to promise
relief) but the issue continues. The errors are always followed by a message
indicating "not enough memory" to complete the task. A different approach to
delete these entries indicate a possible permissions problem on the server.
Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

Some things to try:
- run ScanPST.EXE to see if your PST file is damaged (if you're using one)
- possibly copy all your data to another PST and then use that one instead
of your current one or copy to a PST, delete the mailbox then copy it back

Sorry, Vince. I failed to mention that the calendar is on the exchange
server, NOT on a PST file. That seems to be the crux of the problem; the
customer cannot move, dismiss, or delete entries as they always receive a
"not enough memory" error dialog box. A copy function seems to work. I also
failed to mention that the exchange server admin (heldesk?) declines
(refuses?) to delete the mailbox and recreate for this customer referring us
to KB839626 for a resolution. I suppose I should insist that they recreate
the mailbox
