Novice here..

I have an engineering services company. I need to have a secure area on my web site where my customers can logon, (with user name and password) and download their files using FTP. These files can sometimes be far too large to effectively email. Doesn't need to be fancy, just a typical list of folders

I am using Frontpage 2002 and my web hoster is Affinity, if that helps. My web host supportds the idea of 'realms' but apparently Frontpage does not

I'm a hardware guy so please keep the explaination simple for dummies

Thanks for the help

You host would have to set up a FTP account with login, which you would then
give to your customer. You would upload the content to this area via a FTP
application. FP would not be used for this.
