How to create multiple stacked bars per period in one chart?

I am trying to graph data to show the components of revenue, by country by
year using stacked bard. I'd like each year to have several stacked bars
side by side with one stacked bar per country and the elements within the
stack as the revenue components for that country for the year.

Any suggestions? Is this clear?

Hi -
Thanks for the reply. Yes, that is exactly what I am trying to do, but I
need more then 2 side-by-side stacked columns. I need at least 4. Although
the picture on the link shows 3 side-by-side; as I understood the
instructions, you can only do 2 (by faking out a secondary axis).
I hope I am missing something..... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you're asking for side-by-side stacked columns.

If so, see http://peltiertech.com/Excel/ChartsHowTo/ClusterStack.html

If not, holler back. :-)

There are 4 different sets of instrux on that page. I'm assuming you're
using the first link?

If you add two rows after B, then you can set up your data like this:

North South East West SW NW SE NE
A 1 3
B 3 2
C 1 5
D
4 6

That will give you four stacks, each with 2 pieces to the stack.

If yiou need more pieces, then add columns. If you need more stacks, add
rows.

Then add each set of data so it mimics the way the data is set up in the
instruction workbook. And set each stack to the secondary axis.
