Missy

I need to create a jpg file, but the key point is that I need the header and
side tabs to appear, too. (The letters at the top and the numbers on the
side, as you see the screen when working in excel)

Thank you!

Hi

How about Alt + Print Screen. This will capture your whole window to your
clipboard, which you can then paste and crop as necessary.

Hi Andy,

That doesn't seem to work, this is driving me nuts, lol. Thanks

Hi Missy,
You will need a simple graphics program for this - MS Photo Editor will not
work but most others will.
1) Use File|PageSetup, Sheet to specify that you want row&column header to
be printed.
2) Select the range of the worksheet to be captured.
3) Hold down the Shift key and click the Edit menu item; select Copy Picture
(this shows only when Shift is held down when opening Edit)
4) Select As Printed from the dialog box
5)Move to Graphics program and Paste.

Best wishes
Bernard

Alt+Printscreen captures the entire Excel window for me, as Andy said. Then
you can paste the screen into Paint and save it as a JPG. Of course you can
crop it down to just the worksheet window in Paint too.
