I would like to create a bootable CD to bo able to install XP with
latest SP and Hotfixes and use it when you need to add/and remove
windows components. When a new SP and or Hotfix is release, I create
a new CD.
Although there is nothing wrong with the Microsoft Articles given earlier, I
prefer to look into full systems of unattended installs with several options
and a lot of peer-to-peer support.
Go here, look under the "Unattended XP CD" to read up on how to create a
very nice and complete CD. You may find many of the other unattended methods
(including integrating many of the hotfixes into the install and unattended
installing applications and such before the machine ever boots the first
time in Windows XP) interesting as well.

If you would like to do a network installation, you may want to look at the
following page. This is very similar to the above except the installation is
done entirely over the network with no CDs involved other than the boot CD
or floppy diskette or you can even boot from the network if you have the
ability.

Hope that helps.
