How to copy month view to an Excel file?

Is there a way to select all the data in a month view on a calendar and copy
to an Excel spreadsheet to where the pasted result still has that month view
calendar format? We'd like it to still look like a calendar.

We've done the export bit, but that end result doesn't have that calendar
look.

What is it you are trying to achieve by exporting the calendar to Excel?
Would a copy to PowerPoint achieve what you want?
