Can anybody tell how you can download exe files on a
Windows XP system and change the download to be able to
open up on a Windows 98 Second Edition operating system.
I have a Windows xp in my office, and I built a new
computer for my wife at the house. The motherboard CD to
install the drivers on my wifes computer became damaged
and so I had to download drivers from the Motherboard
Website. I am unable to get anything to show up in the
copied disk form Windows XP. I believe the problem is
that it is of a completely different format than fat32.
Is there anyway to solve this problem without ordering a
new CD from Soyo Computers? What am I doing wrong? What
is there that I don't know?

If you downloaded the drivers, then burn them to a CD and you should be able
to read them in any OS. If you did that, maybe you are trying to tell us
that the CD shows nothing in the other machine - perhaps you forgot to
"close" the CD so it could be read in a standard CDRom, instead of a CDR/W.

Did you Close the CD when you burned it? If it is an open session, it may
not be recognized on the other computer.
