How to convert ms word to wordperfect?

I have WordPerfect 10 and a MS word processor. I can't open MS Word files
from my publisher. Isn't MS word processor, MS Word? How do I convert MS Word
to WordPerfect?

I understand that Word Perfect will open Word format files. Word will not
write Word Perfect files with the current filter version because of system
security considerations. The older filter can still be used (at your own
risk) and is linked from the downloads page of my web site.
