how to convert html to excel

how can I download and convert/format a list on the internet, such as
yellow page listings to excel without manually formatting the text.
Also html format to excel.

will appreciate any help.

Usually when you use IE as your browser you can just copy/paste lists &
tables from the web into excel.

Try just opening the web site inside excel. FILE>OPEN>paste the link and
watch it open inside xl.
