HI aa,
if you use word as email editor,
there is a button calles Accounts, there you can choose the account which
you want to send your mail!

No, not in Outlook 2000 CW mode, which has no mechanism for designating the
account that sends the message. It always uses the first account listed
under Tools | Services | Delivery.

In Outlook 2000 SP3 Corporate or workgroup - I have two accounts - how do I
control from which account I send a particulare e-mail?
In OE in ans some versions of Outlook there is a drop-down meny FROM which
allows account selection - is there anything similar in Outlook 2000 SP3
Corporate or workgroup ?

Even if you don't use Word as the email editor the Accounts button exists.

I found a way to control from which account Outlook will use to send emial
with Outlook setup as Corporate or Workgroup. This will work for plain text,
HTML, or Word as your editor. Once you select new Mail Message, go to the
View pull down and select (From Field). This will add the From Field to your
new Mail Message and all proceding Mail Messages from now on. At this point
you can select from which account you want to send this particular email as.

If you rarely send out emails out via another account you may want to leave
this From Field off until next time you need to send out via another account
besides default or first in the Delivery Tab. Reason is that it will become
a nuisance to have to select the from account each time you want to send out
an email via default.

Update:
You can leave the From Field on and if you dont enter a from addy it will
automatically default to the first account listed under Tools | Services |
Delivery as pointed out by Sue Mosher.

I don't think it works the way you expect. This will change the value of the
From field, but it won't change the account used to send the item.
