Hello guys, i'm trying to connect directly from my new laptop to my desktop
I have a CROSS-OVER cable that i saw being displayed at a seminar, it is used to connect these 2 comps together, only problem is i forgot how it works
Do you guys know how i can connect my laptop directly to my desktop
I saw this example being done and like i said i forgot how
Apparently all that i was required was a cross-over cable
Any idea's please let me know, i'm getting a terrible head-ache, plus the help dialog doesnt give me a good example.............................hmm probably i'm a hands on worker and not a good listener or observer, hehe, ok guys please?

Try these websites for good tutorials:

The cross-over cable works for connecting just 2 computers. Any more, and you
need a hub or router (router is better, if you can use one).

Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.
