Hi

I have a presentation that runs in kiosk mode and I have several hyperlink
buttons in it. What I would like is to have a button that simply closes the
presentation - or even closes PowerPoint. I guess I'll need a macro or vb or
such - but that's a bit beyond me.

Any ideas appreciated.

Add an action button from autoshapes. Set Action Settings to hyperlink to
End Show.

2. Q: why didn't I spot that? A: I'm a muppet. You on the other hand are a
star.

3. While you're at it, could you answer this. Ideally I'd like the user to
open the ppt file and it run straight away then they click another button
and it closes completely - is it easyish??

Thanks for the help so far.

Two choices for this one. Either choose Save As and pick PowerPoint Show
(*.pps) from the list, or just change the .ppt extension on the file name
to .pps.

Star - I like that, but it's not me, it's http://www.glennathestar.com
Sorry, couldn't resist. It's not often I find someone with the same name. :-)

Very easy. Add an action button to the Slide Master. Set the Action
Settings to hyperlink to End Show. Save the file as a PPS instead of PPT.

Do we get another 3 points. :-)
