How to clear" text marked with'do not check spelling or grammer'?

I'm working on a word doc that has has some text blocked for spell checking
"Spelling and Grammer check is complete" "Text marked with 'Do not check
spelling or grammer' was skipped"

Spell check options in the Tools / Options menues don't seem to list this
issue.

How to clear 'Do not check spelling and grammer' ?

Ctrl+A, Tools | Language | Set Language and completely clear the "Do not
check spelling or grammar" box. If the problem persists, the text may be in
an unused header or footer.
 
You may try to select all text, then select tools|language|set language. You
may find that the "do not check speilling & grammar" is checked or grayed
(somewhere in your doc, it is on). Turn it off.

Also you may want to clear you spell checker as well. Select
tools|options|spelling & grammar - recheck document.
