I was wondering, where do I go to clear registry values
and how do I go about it. I have windows professional
2000,and I am going in to stop my disk clean from trying
to clean old compressed files. But I don't have the
slightist idea of where to go to delete the command. I
have the command, but i dont know where to go to delete it.

thanks in advance

Click on start, run, then type regedit to open the
registry editor. There you navigate to the "command" you
have and make the changes to the registry but bewarned,
making the wrong changes can render your system inoperable
and it's best to first make a backup of any reg file you
intend to modify.
Good Luck
