I have a portable hard drive conected to my computer via USB. After using
this hard drive together with a USP-connected memory stic, the letter of the
station of the hard changed from E: to F:. How can I rename it back to
station E: ?

Thanks in advance

1. Plug in your drive.
2. Right-click on My Computer choose Manage
3. Expand to Storage - Removable Storage (or Disk Management, not sure)
4. Right-click on your drive and choose Change Drive Letter of Path

Hope this information helps you, let us know!

Does the drive letter make a difference? I'd leave it the same and get used
to it...every time you "add" another drive (USB Memory stick) it will change
the drive letter to the next alpha letter, i.e. - after F: it will go to G:,
then H: ...etc. You CAN limit the drive letters using the disk management
but why?

I have all my mp3s stored in that portable hard drive, and I have had a
(common?) problem using iTunes. It makes by itself multiple copies of songs.
So to possibly avoid any more useless copies, I preferred to use the same
letter. I don´t know whether this makes any difference or sense.
