Hi,

I created two signatures in Outlook 2003, one for new messages and one for
reply messages, and saved both as WordPad text files, since that is the
signature editor that Outlook opens for Advanced .

Both of these signatures specify using my name in Trebuchet 12pt. In
replies, I want the signature to appear in blue, like the message's text.
However, every time I open a compose new or reply message form, a signature
appears in Times Roman 10 pt black. This happens whether I have Outlook set
to use HTML, Rich Text or Plain Text. (I prefer Plain Text or RTF.) I've
tried creating new signatures with different text and they also appear in
Times Roman 10.

How can I get Outlook to use the signatures I want in the font I want? And
by the way, where are the signature files stored?

Thank you.

..TXT files, created in WordPad, don't retain their formatting. You'd
need to save them as Rich Text Files (RTF) which might not be supported.

You'd be better off just using Outlook to create the signature and apply
the formatting.

Plain text e-mails won't support the formatting either; you'll have to
send/reply in HTML or Rich Text Format.

Mahalo, Ben.

Hmmm.

When I clickon Advanced Edit..., Outlook opens WordPad. There is no other
option. Is there? How do I select it?
