how to change Save As default directory?

Hi. Each time I want to save a new spreadsheet the default
directory shown is always My Documents. What needs to be
done in order to change it to Desktop?
Thanks for all help.

OS = Windows 2000 Professional
 
Hi excel2000!

Try:
Tools > Options > General
Change the default file location.

But your desktop is sure going to get crowded over time.
