How to change profile/sender when composing

I have Outlook 2000, and would like the ability to change from which profile
I am sending a message. I have a 2nd profile set up, but I am not being given
the option to choose it when I view the "From" field. How do I get that
little drop-down arrow to appear? At the moment I have to go into
Tools-Accounts and change my profile every time, which means I sometimes
forget to restore to my default. Thanks in advance!

You can't. You have to close Outlook completely to change profiles. What
you CAN do is to set up multi-email accounts in one profile and then you
may choose which account to send messages from.

Tools-Services-Add Internet mail (I think - it's been a looooong time
since I used Outlook 20000)
 
Thanks Gordon. I successfully added a second email now using that method, but
it still isn't giving me the option of choosing my "From" address. Argh...I
think I'm destined to always be frustrated! Thanks again.

In the Compose window, you should be able to choose the account you send
it from...again my remembrance of O2000 is very hazy.......is there an
arrow by the Send button, or a button marked "Accounts" or something
like that?
 
No, unfortunately there isn't. It's just the From button. I keep looking for
a little arrow or "Accounts" button, or for an option to add these, but there
isn't one. I'm wondering if it's just an Outlook Express feature. Perhaps I
should switch... Do you have an opinion as to which is better of the two, if
anything?

I think you need to add the "From" field in your Compose Window. Don't
ask me how you do that! Try "help" in Outlook!

There should be a down-arrow just to the right of the word "Send"
