how to change outlook save as preferences

Can anybody help I want to change the preferences of the save as option in
outlook to default to message format rather than html and also default to a
mapped network drive rather then my docs.

You don't state your Outlook version, which you should always do when asking
a question. Here's an answer for Outlook 2003:

I must appologise - the versions are Outlook 2000 and 2003 running on Small
business server 2000.
