How to Change File Attribute

Hi,
I want to copy a CAB File from one location in my device to another location
and also remove the Read-Only attribute for the copied file in the
destination folder.

Can any one tell me how i can do it? or suggest me some links where i can
find some help.

Hi,

Check System.IO.FileAttributes.ReadOnly, then call :
System.IO.File.SetAttributes and then make your File.copy(...).

are you suggesting me a way to do it on the desktop??
Is there any way it can be done on the device??

Hi,

ok sorry, it is only available on Desktop.
In CF, you can use FileInfo :
FileInfo fileInf = new FileInfo(@"\My Path\myFile.txt");
fileInf.Attributes = FileAttributes.ReadOnly;

or you must import the WINCE native funtion : SetFileAttributes.
