How to change country of search sites?

HI, everytime I use IE browser for a search it defaults to all sites in the
United Kingdom. I want it to first search for sites in the US. How do I
change this?

IE-Tools-Internet Options-General-Languages
Add English(United States)
Ensure it is at the top of the list.
