how to change color in cell

I am access rookie. How do I change color or highlight individual cell in
datasheet without changing color of entire datasheet.
 
If you are viewing the table, you can't do this. You can build a form and
use conditional formatting to change the color for a "control" based on it's
value, or on the value of another item.

Please note that "cell" is an Excel term.
 
Hi Starr - in Design View select the field and either turn on the Formatting
Toolbar and select the font or background colour you want or Right Click the
mouse and select Properties / Formatting Tab. It is easier at first to use
the Formatting Toolbar. BUT - do keep in mind that Access does not work like
a spreadsheet, if you change the colour of a field ALL of that field become
that colour. In a spreadsheet each cell is discrete so you can change a cell
and not effect the cells above and below.
