How to change attachment view

I am running Outlook 2000. When I receive a msg. with attachments in plain
text format, and I open the msg. in its own window (that is, not viewing it
in the Preview window), all the attachments are shown in a separate
sub-window at the bottom of the message window. If the received msg. has
many attachments (more than will fit in the child window at its default
size) and/or the names of any attachments are long, I am unable to view all
the attachments and/or the entire file name(s) of the attachments.

I know that I can right-click on the child window and change the view from
the default (Large Icons) to Small Icons or List, but even in those views
only the first ~ 20 chars. of the file are displayed and it only allows
about 20 attachments to be displayed. I am also aware that the entire
attachment filename and list can be viewed by clicking the Attachment icon
(yellow paperclip) in the header bar of the Preview window, and am using
that at a workaround

How can I view _all_ attachments -- including the entire file name of each
attachment -- when viewing the mail msg. in its own window?

TIA,
roshan

You can't. File, Save Attachments might list the full name, other wise,
you'll need to save them to see the names.

That was my hunch. Thanks for the confirmation.
