How to cancel specific Windows updates

I do not run Windows Defender at all, however, Windows Update keeps
downloading the updates for me to install. Is there a way to turn off
windows updates for Windows Defender?

Control Panel>>Classic View>>Windows Updates>>Let pane, very top: Change
Settings>>Uncheck Install updates automatically (recommended)

Yes, go into start, all programs, windows defender, tools, options and turn
off automatic updates, which is part of the automatic scan, at the top.

It's a very good program, too bad you want to stop updating it.
It's been working for you all this time.
