Dear Folks,

I need to block someone whos been really bothering me... I dont like the
'move to deleted' folder, cause I keep my deletions, so I still see his
emails.

There is another option that says dont download from server, but that action
can only be applied 'After' arrival, and im finding that im still getting
this.

I had put this person also in the blocked sender list. So ive got him listed
3 times, and still his emails are coming through on outlook express to my
desktop.

Are my rules conflicting with one another? Is that the problem?

Please tell me the best way to keep his emails from coming to my desktop. I
dont mind if they stay on the server and get deleted along with the regular
deletion policy, just so long as I dont have to look at them on my desktop,
either in box, or deleted folder.

Thanks.

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.

Most ISP's now seem to offer the facility to read emails over the internet
and allow rules to be applied at that stage. Look at your ISP's site and see
if that is an option, or telephone their helpline. If it isn't an option
that you can access they may be able to do it for you- ask them.
If they don't offer that facility you can either filter your downloaded
mails within your software (if they are coming through you haven't got it
set right or he is changing his address- if possible block all mails from
his provider and allow any specific addresses from that provider through),
or change your account- most providers will let you change.
