Hi all,
I am a new user to Outlook.
Presently ,I"ve imported some sales call lists in and was wondering, what's
the best way to manage your sales call contacts in Outlook? How can I best
utilize the program for this?
1. So far my two biggest issues are,Once i enter in the detalis of the call
into the journal, you can't easily review th e details of your call
daywithout clicking on each entry and actually pulling up the journal
2. Logging in things to follow up on. For instance I make a sales call.
The guy says call him on Wednesday, come by on Friday. Is there a way to
automatically log this from the COntcts window, or do I then need to go over
everything again and schedule it separately in calendar?
Maybe Outlook is the wrong program for this?
Open to suggestions on how to better use the program

It sounds like you are looking for a contact manager such as Act! or
GoldMine, which is much more akin to what you are looking for.
