How to backup dictionary in Word 2000?

I recently saw a Microsoft article on backing up the necessary files for
Office custom dictionaries (and possibly other proofing tools), but now I
cannot find it.

It involved downloading and installing a tool of some sort and exporting
your preferences for future use or on another computer.

Anyone know of this?
