I'd suggest using a program called "Timed Shutdown" from
http://www.tinnes.org.uk/ in conjunction with task scheduler.

Download wizmo from http://www.grc.com its a tiny free app that you can do a
many things with surrounding power options. Use it in conjunction with
scheduled tasks.

Automatically shutdown from where, under what conditions at a certain
time, etc? Some of those details would help eh?
