Hi,

I have a Budget spreadsheet I downloaded once from Microsoft. Each time
I open the worksheet it is asking whether I want to enable a macro it is
using or not. How can I make Excel to accept this macro automatically so
that I do not need to click yes button each time I open it? Thank you.

Athena,

That is the warning that you get when you are opening any workbook that
contains macros. You could change your security level to low, to prevent
the warning, but it's not recommended.

You could also get a digital signature and sign the macros you trust.
This is the recommended method.
Search the excel help file for "digital signature" for more info.

If it has an "X" in the name, it must be Linux?

Check out help on Selfcert under digital certificates.

You can certify yourself on your own computer and make the warning go away
without setting security to low level.
