Click Start, Run and enter CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2 In the list of users, select Administrator. Then uncheck the box Users must enter a username and password.......... Click apply. In the next dialog enter the password for that account, if any.
Note: This only works in XP Pro. For XP Home, you can only log into the Administrator account in Safe Mode.

| How can I use auto logon in MS Win XP?
| I want my computer to start automatically and logon
| to the Administrator account automaticcally too.
|
|How can I do it?
I am currently using AutoLogon settings under windows xp pro and having great difficulties with Symantec PC Anywhere. I press and hold the shift key down to bypass the autologon and WindowsXP seems to lock the shift key down and hence you have capitals all the time. Is there anyway of changing the bypass key to 'backspace' or something???
