How to auto-log changed records

HI

I have a database table of 36000 items. I need to keep a record of any
records which have any sort of change applied to them. As I make
frequent additions and amendments , I'd like to automate this if
possible so that Access will keep a log in a field in the relevant
record.. I thought of perhaps having a date or some other entry inserted
in a field in the amended record and then I could query the date to show
which changes were made.

Is this possible?

I went to the site and downloaded the file. Unfortunately , it seems to
have no notes and gives no clue as to how to implement it.

I'm note an expert and need more guidance on use than this gives! It
seems to assume a lot of knowledge.

It does sound the sort of thing I need though , so thanks anyway for the
tip.
