How to arrange slides in random order

Is there any way to randomly arrange slides in a presentation. I have a
large slide show with just pictures. They are currently bunched together by
the person that is in the picture. I want to rearrange it so that each
person is spread out through the show. I know I can use the slide sorter but
it would take quite a while with such a large presentation.
