Hello,

I have the Junk Email fiter protection set to 'Safe Lists Only'. I want to
be able to Flag some emails in the Junk Folder which have my name in the body
portion so that i can quickly see if they are sent directly to me from
someone not currently in my "safe list".

I know that i can create a filtered view so that i only see emails in the
Junk Folder that have my name it it, BUT i also want to be able to see other
emails in the Junk Folder as well just in case, which a filter will not
allow. Seems like trying to apply rule to Junk folder is best, but can't
seem to be able to do this.

Is it possible to do this? ie. apply rule (NOT A FILTER) to Junk Folder only..

How do you apply "manually" a rule to the Junk folder?

Create the rule to do what you want, but don't enable it. When you want it
to run, open the Rules Wizard and select Run Rules Now. Select the rule,
and browse to the Junk folder. Click Run Now.

Hi Brian,

Thanks i see now. Too bad i can't automate this somehow. Thanks for
responding!
