how to add a comment to a mail received in outlook?

I would like to add a comment ( descriptive actions ) to a received mail, to
remind me about the follow up actions about the mail. By using flags, it
restricts my choices.

these comments should NOT be part of the mail, when I reply/forward
 
When flagging an item, you can choose which text is displayed to indicate
why you flagged the item.
