On my home network, I am trying to access one system
running Win2k with Remote Desktop on another system
running XP, but I don't know how. What do I need to setup
or install on Win2K so I can access it with XP. Thanks for
your Post.

You can't use remote desktop to connect from XP to a win2k box, cause win2k
does not have remote desktop and it can't be installed. You can install the
remote desktop client on win2k and use it to connect to an XP box. Or you
can use terminal server to connect form either one, but terminal server is
not a desktop emulation program like remote desktop.

Hi!
Windows 2000 uses terminal server, Remote Desktop is for XP.

I regularly use remote desktop to connect to a w2k server box, so at least
that's possible. Whether it would work with w2k pro or not, I don't know.

As far as setting it up, it's been a long time since I did it. You might be
better off asking for particulars on one of the w2k groups or even a
networking group.
