How to access .ini files use VB.Net?

I need to read and write .ini file from my vb.net windows
appliation. Is there API for that available from VB.Net?

You may want to can .ini files altogether and opt for the cooler .config
files http://www.knowdotnet.com/articles/configfiles.html

We have been using .config files, but can you WRITE to it?
