How to abort Windows XP setup.

I encountered a blue screen about half way through setup
and can't abort the program. The computer cycles from the
Logo screen to a screen that says Windows will resume
installation, then back to the Logo screen etc. Help!
 
Boot from the install disk (Press any key to boot from CD-ROM).
XP should detect a failed install procedure and offer to restart it.
However, a Blue screen is an unrecoverable type of problem. Was
this a fresh install or an upgrade of an existing OS ?

If an upgrade did you run the XP Advisor and take the necessary
steps to prepare your system for the upgrade ?
