how should I restore deleted items

I permanently deleted messages in Inbox folder by accident. Is anyone aware
of an easy way to restore them. I'm using outlook 2003 in xp. Thanks.
 
Checked your Deleted Items folder already? You cannot permanently delete
without confirmation.
In case you are conencted to an Exchange server contact your administrator
about restore possibilities.
In case you are using a pst-file restore from back-up. If you don't have
backups either you could try;

-Create an Office 2003 CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 1
 
Since you are on O2003, try the following:
1. Open the 'Deleted Items' folder
2. From the menu bar, select Tools > Recover Deleted Items
3. Hopefully your message(s) will be there

If not, contact your Email Admn for possible recovery (depending upon the
policy of your area)
