I would like to know how much an electronic postage program coists. I
already print sender and return addressed on the envelopes, but if it will
save me in costs I will no longer buy pre-paid envelonpes and just do it all
at once.

Don't ask us, because by definition, that is not a question about Word. Try
google, and (assuming you are in US), start with the US post office site
(usps.com), they seem to be really encouraging such things.

.
It's going to cost more than the postage.
As an aside, a few years back I received a phone call from
a sales person trying to get me to rent a postage meter.
The idea was it would save my company money and only cost
$19.95 per month. I explained to the sales person that my
company only mailed three pieces of mail a month. She
insisted that I could save money. Even when I posed the
question that I only spent money for three first class
stamps a month and to subtract that from the $19.95 it
would be a big loss. I might as well been talking to my
woodworking machinery. She came right back with the canned
spiel again. What's this got to do with the cost of an
electronic postage program? Nothing, but then your post had
nothing to do with MS Word.

In the UK they sell DL size envelopes with first class stamps printed on
them, but this presupposes that your letters all weigh less than 60g and can
be folded into that envelope size. I don't know if they have the same system
in the US. Mostly its people buying gift stationery for presents that use
it, rather than businesses.

And as the UK postal service seems to lose more letters than it delivers,
you may as well put your letter in the refuse bin and save yourself the cost
of the postage ;)

The US also offers prepaid envelopes (#10); similarly, they have postage for
one ounce. If a letter weighs more, additional postage must be applied.
