How many XP CD's are there

Besides the versions we all know and love (Pro, Home & Media - Full and
Upgrade) plus generic OEM versions, how much and what changes to the core of
XP CD(s) can the OEM CD's from Dell, Gateway, HP and other major vendors
make? Or all the changes external to Windows itself.

There are as many as there are needed. In addition to the
major division so retail vs. OEM, PRO, Home and Media, there
is also those with SP1 added into them, followed by SP2. And
OEM's can make as many changes to the contents of their branded
cdroms as they like. The good ones, at least in the past, added
value.
