How many users have already installed the .Net framework

Does anyone has some figures? My weblogs say that about 20% have
installed the framework.

Nobody has an optinion to this question? I need this information in
order to decide if I should use .NET to write a small freeware program.
But if 95% of all users have to download 22MB to use a 1MB program, this
won't be a good idea.

When there was a first start with windows everybody had first to buy that to
use it.
Otherwise you had to stay with DOS. Some developping companies did that.

And NET is even free, what you want more?

I hope you understand this advice, I will not call comanynames, because they
will always deny this.
