there is no getting it back. You have to turn it off and then on again and
start over. Of course that doesn't help you fix your troubles.

Your original post is hidden by an earlier post with the same subject i.e.
"System Restore". Uncheck the View setting from "Group by Conversation" or
sort the message list by subject and expand each "System Restore" line.
