yet when i used the pc to access any sites in US or England ,
the pages are displayed correctly in english.

can someone explain how this work ?
thanks.

I belive you need to install windows chinese version to generate their
characters
although I'm sure their are third part software packages out there that will
do what you want, I have no idea what they are.

go control panel>Regional and Language Options>languages tab

click on 'Details' button, then add the chinese input method that u prefer
to use.
for me, i use Chinese PRC>Chinese(Simplified) -Microsoft Pinyin IME 3.0

after that u can press Ctrl+spacebar to select your input language

He'll need a chinese keyboard too.

Any advice is my attempt to contribute more than I have received but I can only assure you that it works on my PC. GOOD LUCK.

firstly, there 's not such thing as 'chinese keyboard'.(i do not use chinese
keyboard to input chinese word either :) )
normal keyboard is perfectly fine when using pinyin ime to key in chinese
word

I guess the well known 'pinyin ime' makes a difference.

More importantly, DONT use a real email addy in any newsgp!
