How Folder's windows size be kept

I have 7 PC's with Windows XP Professional.

One of them has a PROBLEM:

One of the PC can not hold the size of Folder/Directory's Windows's

Size.
For example,
Open My Document or My Computer and
change/resize the size of the windows,
then close the windows of any of the folders,
then open it ,
strangely,
the size of the windows is not kept(changed)

how can I hold/keep the size of the windows?
( only the other six PSs are normal, I can hold any size of the windows
of any folders.)

I would appreciate it if you can give me TIPS in advance.

Check in Folder Options - View to be sure that 'remember each folder's
view settings' is checked

The number of windows that can be remembered is limited - Kelly has a
patch to increase this at
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks2.htm
In the Fixes section, 'Increase Folder View. . . '
