Is there a limit eg. 12 months, beyond which date navigator will not show
"events" in bold ?

The date navigator shows bolded dates 2 months into the past and 10 months
into the future from the current date.

I know this thread is over 3 years old. Nevertheless I thought I would give
it a try.

I want to use my Outlook Date Navigator to review past appointments for the
year 2008. I failed to assign or use categories for appointments in Outlook
so I can not search that way for past appointments. Is there a registry entry
I can change to allow Outlook Date Navigator to display appointments that are
more than 2 months old? thank you.

As far as I know, you cannot change how far ahead or behind Date Navigator
will bold the dates.

I will keep looking until I find a fix or the reason
why Date Navigator Works this way... ! :)

Who knows whether or not Microsoft will decide to change this behavior? As
to why, the anser is fairly clear: "because Microsoft decided to do it that
way."

I understand that... :). Still these kind of little things bother me. I need
Date Navigator to allow to see 12 months of appointment dates. It would seem
logical to a layman that there is a registry entry somewhere on this; but
maybe not. I want to exhaust all sources before I give up and accept that it
is because it is...!

thanks again. I have seen many of your posts in the Community forums. You
always seem to have solid helpful information, and are also very patient with
the posters.

take good care.

There is no such registry entry. Don't look for one any longer.

I'm glad you think so. I'm sure there are others that don't and some times
it justified.
